My second Caravaggio comes with more the likes of his best mimic Artemisia Gentileschi.
Thank god to internet, you no longer have to attend Art History classes.
You attend YouTube and Wikipedia these days for free.
What makes a Caravaggisti a Caravaggisti?
Perhaps it is the focus and the depiction of Light.
The painting's focus on the subject, Light, is so fierce, it leaves sound behind...
Woooo......
So how to leave behind sound?
Our brain and eyes can only focus on so much stuff actually.
When we see surreal light that feels more real, we focus so much, we forget sound.
It is like meditation.
Perhaps, it is hypnotism caused by visual fuckerier. How fuckeritastic is that.
