Fun time in Sgp

As buddies, me and Spencer (the dude who designed this graphics) has decided to make T-shirts for us.

It sounds so wrong, in text, I don't know why.

Maybe it's Spencer's T-shirt he designed, that is making something sound so funky.

Anyways, the T-shirt looks like it came out of nowhere.
I don't even know how to describe the real thing.

Video

I was watching this video clip of our client.
We cater museums to give what they want.

Anyways, this is my other life, when I'm an architect-slash-exhibition designer.
When the show takes off, my role switches from exhib design to architect. Back to masonry again.

The masonic industry is always full of shady deals. Cuts here and cuts there, one day my colleague went to his job-site to see one of the structural column being cut. Now that don't make sense.

Due to cheap labors and competitions amongst contractors to cut money, things goes wrong all the time.

Sometimes its the architects, sometimes its the contractors, and who knows what more.
Intentional mistakes and non-intentional errors arising from juvenile attitude or over-professionalism happens every day. And its not a virtual world we are dealing with. So lawsuits and contracts are very common words to us.

Bricks and stone are as real as anything can get.

It takes 1 year to make something and 10 years to truly appreciate it.
If it still stands.

HONEY and BUNNY

These are all beautiful prints of bunny on honey being eaten by orchid monster.

Not really.

But sometimes, I think we are bunnies on honey, almost about to be eaten by watever.
So Tiphaine digitally drew this and me and friend started to draw together.

Honey Bunny

Sometimes, people can be amazing.
Not all the time. Same with everyone including me.

But SOMETIMES, we are amazing.

Tiphaine, this new girl who joined our collaborative selling-ass art production made this.
I made it blue, but the original is beautiful.

It's just so gore-hi-tec-poppy.

Pudding on a Stick

Pudding on a Stick

My mama didn't make me vulgar.
I' was just born like this.

Like a pudding on a stick.

This is a flan though.

I'm sorry sometimes, for being so improper and anarchistic.

MLNM

When my friend Spencer (my collaborator) left his firm with grief, he digitally painted this graphic collage artwork.

It's so rock and roll.

Everyone likes it, so far.
But there will be haters all the time. We just got called "vulgar" few days ago.

I understand that its very offensive.

Finishing Projects...

This one is Naomi that I finished finally, after many many months.

It became a portrait of bags through a girl.
Look how bags make u crazy, girls.
I only had one bag to shoot, but I wish I get a juicy patron to do Diors and Chanels... like soon.

Anyways, be strong, buy only the good ones.

This is Amanda Grace Cooper Jr., and she was not perfect, but got it perfectly.
Some girls just know what to do.

I think its their (girl's) gift.
They know what to do... (not all).

I'm trying to put them on Pinterest, and I found out that it is too tedious to choose one by one from my blog, especially when I post unfinished work.

I'm reposting...........

LitUp Singapore 2012

Ghetto Fine Arts

This is a city-portrait of Singapore.
It is a 13-piece series, a poetry for the island of Singapore.

These are two works of The Jungle which is to be exhibited coming July at the Telok Ayer Performance Arts Center for LitUp Singapore 2012, a literary arts festival.

We are doing ghetto Fine Art.
Cheap, low-budget, but fine art.

We had to make money from creation (at least good enough that people would buy to preserve), so we said "it's gotta sell". But with all these money not being around anyone, we came to a realization that normal people can't buy shit that will cost few hundred to print. Or more.

It had to be cheap, poster-able, even postcard-able fine art that can have commercial value.

It is Art as prostitution. It is Art literally selling out. It is Art for the mass, as we are all whores.
So this is Mass Art.

Random image post

This website posts images in a format I'm not too fond of.
So It may be a bit weird, the way things are laid out.

This one was in New York.
A mom was walking too cool.

Yana is a girl from Germany.

She took me to an abandoned hipster's refugee camp.

Crupiland

I have even more of these...
It was my first commissioned portrait.
I accept cash and stuff, if they accept this.

Posting images

Untitled, 2007

This picture was shot in 2007.
I finished my summer intern at Dah's (which extended eventually...) and said to myself "I need to do a shoot."

So I did it, and it was my first shoot that I arranged.

This was how I kinda started shooting long time ago.
But then there's another story about how I picked up a camera.
